F₀ Calculator
🔹 How to Use the F₀ Calculator
- Prepare Your Data in Excel
- Make sure your temperature readings are in a single column (one reading per row).
- You can copy up to 30 temperature values at a time.
- Copy the Temperature Values
- Highlight the cells in Excel (no headers, just numbers).
- Press Ctrl+C (Windows) or Cmd+C (Mac) to copy.
- Paste Into the Calculator
- Click inside the “Paste Temperature Data” box.
- Paste your values (Ctrl+V / Cmd+V).
- Each number should appear on a new line.
- Click “Calculate F₀”
- The tool will automatically:
- Fill in the Time (minutes) column.
- Calculate Lethality per minute (L/min) for each temperature.
- Calculate Accumulated F₀ (the running total of lethality over time).
- The tool will automatically:
- Review the Results Table
- The table will display:
- # – Data point index (1–30).
- Time (min) – Auto-filled, starting at 0 minutes.
- Temperature (°C) – Your pasted values.
- Lethality/min – Decimal value representing kill rate.
- Accumulated F₀ – Running total, final value shows total sterilization.
- The table will display:
- Repeat as Needed
- Clear the box, paste a new data set, and calculate again.
